Effective September 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RoadCrewMatcher (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.
RoadCrewMatcher is an introduction platform that connects people who need something driven (a personal item move, a company driving job, or a subcontractor gig) with people willing to drive it. RoadCrewMatcher makes the introduction and provides the tools to negotiate, message, and confirm a match. RoadCrewMatcher is not a party to any agreement made between a poster and a driver, does not guarantee performance by either side, and does not act as an employer, broker, or agent for either party.
You choose an account type at signup — individual or company — which determines what you can post. Individual accounts can post personal-move listings and a driver profile. Company accounts can post company-job and contract-gig listings, and may also post a driver profile for owner-operators. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
RoadCrewMatcher verifies two narrow things: a driver's proof of auto insurance, and nothing else. We do not verify identity, driving record, CDL validity, or background for any user.
RoadCrewMatcher charges flat fees or subscriptions for using the Platform itself — never a percentage of any payment between users. This includes personal-move listing fees and bundles, individual and company posting plans, ad sponsorship, and career services. Posting fees are non-refundable if you delete a listing early. Subscriptions (posting plans, sponsorship, Personal Plus, Personal Unlimited) continue to bill until canceled. Searching listings, applying or bidding, and posting a driver profile are always free for drivers — RoadCrewMatcher does not and will not charge drivers to be found or to apply.
RoadCrewMatcher never processes, holds, or transfers payment for a personal-move delivery, job, or gig. There is no escrow. The poster and driver settle payment directly with each other, through an approved method: PayPal (required) and, optionally, Venmo — both used in "Goods & Services" mode, never "Friends & Family." Cash App and Apple Pay/Apple Cash are not supported, as both restrict their peer-to-peer service to personal, non-commercial use.
Because RoadCrewMatcher does not process this payment, we have no mechanism to guarantee either side follows through — a driver is not guaranteed to be paid after completing a job, and a poster has no refund path through RoadCrewMatcher if a driver doesn't show. This is a deliberate tradeoff, not an oversight: RoadCrewMatcher facilitates the match but does not guarantee the outcome.
A personal-move listing's pickup and dropoff street addresses are collected at posting time but are not shown publicly — only city and state appear in Browse. Drivers submit sealed bids that are visible only to the poster. When a poster accepts a bid, all other pending bids on that listing are automatically declined, and — only at that point — the matched driver and poster receive each other's contact info and the full addresses, along with a "Service Agreement" email summarizing what was agreed to. That email, and these Terms, both state plainly: RoadCrewMatcher facilitated the match but is not a party to the arrangement and does not guarantee performance by either side.
In-app messaging is provided so you don't have to share personal contact information before a match is confirmed. Messages are screened for contact information (phone numbers, emails, and similar) before a bid is accepted or an interest is expressed on a listing; a message that appears to contain contact info will be blocked, with an option to submit it for manual review if you believe that's a mistake. You can report or block another user at any time; reported content is reviewed by RoadCrewMatcher staff.
An account that stays open without posting anything is never a problem — inactivity alone is never a violation of these Terms. However, repeatedly posting listings without any genuine intent to transact — evidenced by a pattern of posting several personal-move listings while never accepting a bid over a rolling 45-day window — is a breach of the good-faith obligation implied in these Terms, and may result in account review and potential removal. This section exists to deter using the Platform to solicit bids with no real intention of ever completing a transaction; it is not intended to penalize a poster who simply hasn't found a bid worth accepting yet.
After a listing is marked complete, both the poster and driver may rate and review each other. Reviews are tied to the specific listing you were matched on, can only be left once per completed match, and are a trust signal for future users — they are not verified or moderated for accuracy beyond RoadCrewMatcher's standard content policies.
RoadCrewMatcher is provided on an introduction-only basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoadCrewMatcher disclaims any liability for the conduct of any user, the outcome of any match, delivery, job, or gig arranged through the Platform, or any payment dispute between users. Your use of the Platform and any arrangement made through it is at your own risk.
RoadCrewMatcher may suspend or terminate an account for violating these Terms, including the bad-faith use policy in Section 8, submitting content that repeatedly violates our contact-info or content policies, or other abuse of the Platform. Where practical, we'll tell you why.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact address listed on the Platform.
